I thoughtfully decided against posting this yesterday, since the celebration of everyone's favorite beheaded Saint(s) was in full swing. But now that the day has passed and chocolate makers everywhere can take a vacation on your dime (if you properly demonstrated your devotion to the special someone in your life, that is), I submit the following for your review as the first entry in what I shall profoundly designate my "Humbug" series:

Extremely interesting...I knew there was something out there you were going to pick at about the wonderful day of Valentines! You are correct it has become a money maker for a lot of different companies that are out there...HOWEVER you personally or I personally or our significant others do not need to make it about that! Mr. Kevlar--what are two of the most valuable things you can give to someone? Nope you wont find it at Hallmark...NOPE not at Gertrude Hawk or a Jewelry Store either. Give up?..Your Time and Your Love....neither have to cost a thing...but sometimes...if you take the time to do something to show that special someone how much you care and love them it means more than all the roses in the world or the yummy chocolates money can buy or all the jewelry one could ever wear. Does there have to be a signifcant day to show that..? Of course not...its nice that there is...its a reason to go out of your way to show that! Take the time out of the daily hub bub to show how much you care! So Happy Valentines To You!
